TL:Why does Baba do what Baba does?
AB:That's a good question. I do what I do because that's what I'm supposed to do.
TL:What do you mean? Supposed to do? Are we talking fate and destiny?
AB:No, not fate or destiny...more of a responsibility.
TL:Oh, so with great power comes great responsibility?
AB:Sort of, it is something that I voluntarily agreed to. And I believe all us Auntie's volunteer to do this.
TL:What do you mean by volunteer?
AB:Somewhere in time and space and beyond, before I plunked down in this flesh suit, I signed up to be an auntie.
TL:Why did you volunteer?
AB:I'm not sure. I know I have experienced life as so many things. I have been a tree, an alligator, a warrior and a librarian, to name a few. Perhaps, I thought, why the heck not. Or perhaps owing to this time and place, it was the right thing to do.
TL:Are you satisfied with your decision?
AB:Yes, every day. Even the challenging ones. For even on the most difficult days I still get to experience tremendous beauty and love.
